Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms are done to an extremely high standard, exuding a lovely cozy feeling. However, the lack of air conditioning led to a slightly uncomfortable night due to the heat. The location is picturesque and serene, ideal for exploring the Cotswolds villages, but some noise disruptions could affect the tranquility of the stay.
Our stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The room we had was absolutely gorgeous, with an enormous, comfortable four-poster bed, a huge bathroom with double rainfall showers, and a lovely free-standing bath. The service we received, particularly from Sam, the assistant manager, and the rest of the staff, was exceptional. The location felt like a typical 'Cotswold' property and was perfect for exploring the famous villages. The dining experience was average, with unfortunately cold poached eggs, but the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, a great experience!
My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful! The room was splendid, a superior one that lived up to its description. The ensuite was really spacious, clean, and recently decorated, providing a brilliant and very good night's sleep. Plus, it came with delicious fudge, water, and a variety of tea and coffee assortments. The service was a mix; although they were short-staffed, the staff were very helpful and gracious. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds, being clean, inviting, and nice in the sunshine. The dining experience, unfortunately, was a bit cold, but the pad thai was equally good. The facilities were great, offering everything one might need for a comfortable stay.
The hotel offers really beautiful rooms with breakfast included. The rooms are clean and cozy with partially glazed double doors from the bedroom to the bathroom. The service is professional and friendly, and the staff are lovely, knowledgeable, and keen to please, creating a great atmosphere. The location is excellent, particularly for visiting Kim Bailey stables or the quaint villages of the Cotswolds. The dining experience was not recommended, but the hotel is in a dream location with beautiful surroundings.
